As of today my 7 year old x10 will not switch on. Being disabled this was the easiest way to access my 400gb of music through my pc. Do you think it's had it? I was thinking of upgrading to either the x14 or x45 (very expensive) but would like to know if I can swap out the x10 hard drive and put it in either of those machines to play my music, I also have a backup on an external drive.
I could simply buy another x10 but it's getting a bit old now and I think an upgrade would be wise should my machine be finished.
Any advice or comments would be much appreciated. Also best UK prices..

jeepster@ Is the power adaptor ok? Unfortunately we do not test models that are not made by our uk team or sold on the cocktail audio site. Any other model would not be supported by the UK team.

Got my brother to check it, dead as a dodo, so binned it but kept hdd. Treated myself to the x35 which should arrive this week - can't wait! I'm assuming I can pop in my hdd from x10 and all will be okay. A very expensive machine but then I haven't bought any hifi for over 20 years bar the x10.

ok...Well it isn't an official uk supported kit so we do not support it or test the software. It is a nova not a cocktailaudio device - thank you.
