Hi chaps,
I am thinking of trading in my X10 (limited support, no incremental backup etc etc) for an X100 but was wondering how I would get all my current music on to the X100?
I assume I can't just insert the original drive in the X100 as the DB is different?

Also can anyone advise if the X100 web interface is actually any good?
The X10 web interface is buggy, slow, prone to hang and extremely frustrating to use.
If there's no improvement I think it will be time to look at a new manufacturer.

Hoping for a positive response!

Better to have something that works than too many problems from day 1 (having read so many of the posts).
With the Pro X100 you could mount the HDD & copy via SMB. According to support more options will be added soon.
The web-interface is not like the X10/x40 type, it is more easier, simplier & customisable.
I think the it could be even better due to the way it is designed/coded.

I think we should be pushing the manufacturers for system updates to X10. It should be possible to provide regular updates along with newer models. I am becoming very disillusioned with modern tech. It seems nothing is supported after 3 years or so, leaving the customer with an expensive door stop or paper weight. It doesn't seem to matter what you pay the obsolescence rate is the same. No wonder people are going back to vinyl!
