2. What is the ripping level on this please (FLAC)? Level 0
3. If i log a speech can it be moved or copy to a CD ? It becomes a file ...copy, email, edit etc
4. What is the analogue recording format please? FLAC format eg if you record from a Vinyl
5. Can I edit unknown Cds or personal files? Yes

Hope that helps - if you have anymore questions just email support@cocktailaudio.co.uk or sykpe us.

Help with Cocktail Audio X9.
-Wanted to create a CD of some already ripped songs mp3 & flacs (playlists) to play in an old classic car.
The problem is that the system pops up with a message that the rewritable CD is the wrong format.
Am i doing anything wrong?
(BTW this is a good kit & a really fast ripper too :) )
Thanks.

I haven't tried to create cds with the X9 yet but the ripping is fast & smooth - very impressive.
Nice for digitizing analogue too, it works anywhere (on power mains, battery or car jack) :)
I think you have to format the cd with the erase option & then select the music files to copy to the CD.

@AudioMass, The CD format is probably in UDF, you can change it to ISO or erase the data on the disc & use the multisession to create your music - mp3 & Flacs. Hope that helps :)

Burner option works fine, also good for a classic car without a USB type port or if the system isn't able to read flac music or access music through a flash device.
