We know that you are all keen for the release of the new firmware for the X-Series... we are too! We must apologies for the delay. The developers are waiting for Tidal and Deezer to confirm their part in the content, which we are told will take a further two weeks. As usual, when it goes live, networked X-Series will see the prompt to install the firmware. To whet your appetite, the release will support Tidal and Deezer, fix the current artwork source issue and much more!

Cocktail Audio X10 users will be pleased to know there will be an update for the X10, contrary to initial enquiries. This release will exclusively fix the artwork source issue. :D

Really, compensation, I wish!

Just passing on some info I was sent in an e mail.

I am only interested in the X10 being supported in the future and thought others may want to know of any possible updates.

Nothing else

Hi dixy
so just to confirm the X10 update will fix the artwork problem but nothing else?
No web update etc?
I won't even ask about the incremental backups!
cheers

Looks like it. Better than nothing I suppose. We are still awaiting the back up problem fix, I am not holding my breath.

Looks like it. Better than nothing I suppose. I won't hold my breath for any more, especially the long promissed back up fix.

I've long given up on that and just wish cocktail would admit they don't know how to fix it.
A web interface that works in a timely fashion and is not full of bugs would go a long way now especially when modifying virtual playlists.
The old turn it off and on again really doesn't cut in in 2016
