Updated to latest firmware when prompted. All seems fine, apart from a prompt when turning off that says that 9 tracks haven't finished converting yet and I will lose them if I turn my X30 off. First night I left it on overnight but when I went to turn off I got exactly the same message. I decided to turn it off anyway, and then get the same message every time I turn it off. DB check says all OK, but message persists. Any thoughts on how to get rid of it / solve the problem?

Why not check that album & see what is going on? - Select the album & press info "i".
9 tracks should have converted by now
I wouldn't worry about the msg, even if there is no HDD inside the box a msg pops up like "DB is corrupted" (because there is not DB to check).
I think they need to sort out the dialogue messages/wordings.

There are still 9 tracks waiting to be converted, but they aren't the most recent CD's I have ripped as they are fine, and there is no information to say what they relate to. Despite being told I would lose them if I turn off the unit they are still there. Suspect must be erroneous message

MikeyJam, are the songs of the same cd?
The devices converts track by track, hence the latest cd should be the current or if there are more then in the queue.
If the msg seems inplausible then do a recovery scan to remove the junk msg.
Sometimes errors can still remain even when there are nothing to convert.
The system file(database sql file) & the song file needs to be in sync to display the correct msg.

Hello again - I investigated the nine unconverted tracks via web interface, and they were all from different CD's, and also not recently added

Anyway, I have deleted them and all seems fine. One day I'll get round to reinstating them, but in the major scheme of things....

Thanks for your assistance with this one.
