Since nobody else is giving an actual response I'll try. the x14 recently had a major firmware update to 1681, which has caused some major changes and problems. These have not really been addressed yet in anything I have read. You have to activate Gracenote, after which it works for two years. If your unit is second hand, it may be beyond the two year period, or maybe it's never been activated at all? You can download a manual online to see how to do this. After two years, you can pay 5 Euros a year to continue with Gracenote. What I do is to rip the CD on my computer, as this normally picks up all the relevant album art, tags, etc, and then I load it onto the x14 via USB. A good programme to rip with is db poweramp. The neo x app does not work for me. It connects to the router OK, but is unstable, more or less useless really. There was a very good web interface for PC, but that stopped working with the 1681 firmware. I have been told that there will be a new web interface app sometime in the Autumn. Some of the Cocktail Audio hardware seems to come under one company, and some under another, Novatron. It is all very confusing.
