Having had my X10 for only a few months, I've been learning on the fly. The Update summaries have been very useful as have all the entries on this Forum. My thanks to all who have submitted answers to the many questions.

It has been mentioned in many places on this Forum that Tagging is very important. Rather an understatement - it's essential to get it right. Not having albums of the identical name is vital. Using the drop-down lists of already named tag sections is very useful. I found that classical music had its own requirements. I now relabel the tag to include composer (first) followed by movement/section in the Track label. I also put the composer first in the Album label followed by the work. That way it's easy to separate each of several works on one CD into its own album, thereby removing the need to select tracks when wanting to listen to only one work on the disc. The artist label then has orchestra, conductor, soloist, instrument. That gives rise to a lot of entries in the artist drop-down list but is very easy to read on playback.

I also discovered that album art was often more productive to seek after ripping. I had much more success at finding the correct art that way.
