My X10 is sitting on top of my old Quad HiFi rack where the old Philips CD104 sat for years. When ripping some of my CDs the whole lot vibrates like mad, making a huge buzzing noise. Other CDs are fairly quiet. Is it that some CDs aren't exactly circular or something? It drives my wife mad! I was wondering if I could put extra feet or something under the X10, to smooth out the vibrations & reduce the noise. Any suggestions anyone?

Sorry, I thought someone might have a tip for dampening the vibration. There didn't seem to be a more appropriate section.

Well, I've happily used some self-adhesive vibration absorbing feet branded "AcoustiFeet" as a cheap and cheerful solution.

Just fitted AcoustiFeet to my X10 - brilliant - it just hums quietly to itself, no longer shaking the ornaments of my hifi rack. They should be fitted as standard. Thank you for the excellent tip.
