Sometimes ripped albums can be messed up in the MUSIC DB.
All albums can be viewed in Genre/Artist or Albums, however its easier to scroll alphabetically.
Use the SORT button on the remote.
The "SORT" button has 3 modes - A-Z, Z-A & ORIGINAL ORDER (Chronologically)

This "SORT" applies to albums with mixed tracks.
If an albums plays track "12" before track "2" - use the "SORT" button to arrange the tracks - Just keep pressing it (you will notice your preferred arrangement logically)

It seems to me that the Sort button switches between sorting A->Z, Z->A (as you say) and then the order in which the entries were added to the internal database. (So I guess that might be useful for finding the CD you last ripped, for example.)

If tracks are playing in the wrong order, you might be able to fix that by editing the "Track number" tags, but I can't see a way to do that directly on the X10. I would: export the relevant album; use your favourite music tag editing software on a computer to number the tracks in the right order; then re-import the album to the X10.

True, that is another option i guess.
I get that sometimes on ITUNES or other media player sotfwares too.
The best way i find is to use 01,02,09......(not 010)10,11,12 on all my files & the all the computers/media players will play & read the files a-z manner :)
