Is there any possibility of being able to use a usb bluetooth adapter to allow the use of wire free headphones with the brilliant X10??

usb wireless keyboard seems to work, so you never know, bluetooth headephones may well work.
If you have the kit try it and see.

Otherwise, I may be able to borrow some next week and can try them.

I have just bought from Amazon an audio to bluetooth adapter and b/t headphones which seems to work fine. The adapter plugs into the headphone socket at the back of the X10 which is a bit of a nuisance to plug and unplug. The problem may be the sound quality given the conversion from audio to b/t digital and back again but that probably won't be an isdue for me as not a great audiophile, just want to listen to music in same room as wife watching TV! Adapter cost £14 so worth a try.

Hope that helps.

Not sure about the X10, but on my X40 I have the Sennhieser RS-175 headset base plugged into the optical output for wireless headphone use. Sound is fantastic. Prior to that I was using bluetooth earbuds and a transmitter plugged into the analog outputs. Not as nice sounding, but it worked fine.
