Sorry but I'm with Kimberz here

44 kHz is not 44.1 kHz - and 44,100 Hz is not 44,000 Hz - it just isn't - the decimal is important. :geek:

Even dear old Apple can get this right in iTunes 8-)

So can we, as Kimberz suggests, please have a bit of exactitude here on the X30, it's not as if there isn't sufficient room on the screen

Peter.

P.S if you don't believe me that accuracy is important try taking a 44.1kHz Wav and resampling it to 44.0 kHz and then play it ...

Guys it is just the displayed text.
1.00 = 1 :)
We all know the it's a 16 bit file, i would rather they focus on more vital stuff like the bloody backup with playlist.

Yes I'm with you there and totally agree that incremental backup and the playlist issues should be top of the list.
I've mentioned this elsewhere on this forum :)
However the file info issue does need addressing at some point.
It might only be a decimal point, but in this case it doesn't represent '1'.
44K (or 44,000Khz as it currently displays) is not 44.1K (or 44,100Khz) as Peter has noted earlier.
It should also correctly display 88.2K if one has such a file but I don't have this type of file to confirm this.
Correct sample rates are:
44.1Khz (CD Standard), 48Khz (Professional Standard), 88.2Khz, 96Khz and 192Khz (Hi Res / Hi Definition Audio).
The X30 supposed to be Hi End kit...
The very least it should be able to do is display correct info

R0069 does indeed appear to be backing up the playlists - I watched it happening when I did my first backups with r0069 last week

@Kimberz: from my measurements the backups do indeed appear to be incremental - just incredibly slow - see this thread: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1135

I have tried to run a backup to my external usb drive and all the x30 does is scan the drive and indicates that around 400gb is used and around 100gb free.
It takes that as being not sufficient space to backup.
In other words, it isn't checking all the files already on there and identifying the new additions.
It's looking at a complete back up again in addition to the backup already on my usb drive.
Therfore showing insufficient space :(
Am I doing something wrong? :?
