I think found the answer to this one: In the X10 Menu, select 'BROWSER', move cursor to the line 'HDD1' but do not click, just let the cursor hover. Then, on the remote control handset press 'INFO' and the screen will show 'Total Space' and 'Free Space'. Hope this helps.
