I have a pair of B&W MM1 active speakers that have an on-board DAC.

I have tried to connect them to my brand new Cocktail X-10 using the USB connection, but have not been able to make it work.

The MM1s are a great visual match with the X-10 and have superb sound, but only have a 3.5 in phono or USB connection (they are designed as computer speakers).

The 3.5 in phono connection works OK, but the B&W onboard DAC is pretty special, so I would prefer to be able to use that.

Does the X-10 USB support audio?, if not, is there any plan to introduce this feature in the future?

Thank you

I think the only reason for the x10 usb hosts is for connecting external storages/devices - wireless keyboard, wifi dongles etc.
For example ripping to another external hdd or copying files from another source.
Probably best to stick to the LineOut, since your speakers have phono connections.
