Post subject:  Best Format to RIP: Can I Mix and Match?

I'm NEW to Forum! I JUST bought the X-50(D). There's conflicting Opinions about which format to RIP my CD's. (AROUND 800) to do. The Dealer told me to use WAV. I have 4TB in a Mirror Onboard RAID. so 8TB total.
4TB is a Ton. I do realize that WAV takes a lot more storage then FLAC or ALAC. I guess I want the Best Playback sound. I know WAV is the Best Copy of the CD's. I already have my PC with iTunes. I know that ALAC is iTunes. My DAC handles ALL forms, so it's not a problem. I don't want to RIP all these in WAV and realize I made a Mistake. Space isn't an Issue with 4TB. I can always Buy another HDD for $75. THANK YOU GUY/GALS.

Not supported in he UK (novafidelity), but i would opt for flac. Even though, we do not know, how stable the software/source code is regarding the ripping development- i would check with the seller.
