Post subject:  Adding a single track to an existing album

In a recent message (see http://www.cocktailaudio.co.uk/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1450&sid=c781d3a48af3f48838b7461b17086584&sid=c781d3a48af3f48838b7461b17086584#p8934) I have explained how normal riping (into .wav's) often produces (to me) albums with missing tracks.

To fix this problem, and as a general need for non-conventional albums (e.g., an album made by oneself, out of tracks from several original albums), I would like to add a single track to an existing album.

I have not found how to do this in the manual or in this forum. I have tried to just import the track to the MusicDB as usual, but either it goes to its own single-track album, or (if I carefully rename the genre, album, artist, year, track number, etc. so as to be compatible with those of the existing album) the CocktelAudio (X30) refuses to import the track and gives a major DB error.

Any idea of how to add a single track to an existing album?

Thanks in advance for any comment and/or info.

Thanks a lot. I did not figure out "merge" as a search keyword for info in the forum!

I will try the proposed methods as soon as I have some time.

Best.
