Using the rather sytlish creation 5+ app to access my cocktail audio x12. I have nothing to do with the company?

But I get the error that the server doesn not support dlna searches, so I am guessing that the cocktail audio does not support this feature? I don tthink its this app?

Would be a good feature to include in future updates for lounge lizards.

Also whilst using another other dnla/ upnp app it always displays the cds in the order loaded on to the machine, is their anyway top hard resort the cds alphabetically?

best

Any box can be accessed with a upnp or dlna app.
The cocktail audio device can be any server on a network.
It is the app that should be able to pull the data/music & using that protocol.
If you were using the cocktail audio to access another media then that would be another issue.

I can use bubble or house music app etc to access the X10 or X30 & other servers I have to stream to another device or ...
Also use the SORT option to arrange the music on your device, there are other categories changes too, you have to read the manual or search the forum eg."SORT#"

thanks for that.

I have done a search and read the manual,

it could be the app,

sort option of course re sorts on the CA,

so does the CA support dlna search via external connections?

I use Toaster Cast DLNA UPnP Player & it works fine.
I just use the cocktail + other expensive better servers has the server/library & play on wireless devices or other as a renderer.
Sometimes when i set my smart phone as a DLNA server the cocktail audio can also see it & play the music & vice versa.
So i think it does support it, check the settings or boot the app etc
