Hi, I've got an X30, and the i-service option is greyed out and unavailable. I'm using a wired network connection, the Web Service interface works from my chromebook and I can connect to the internet from all my other devices. Any ideas what's going on? Thanks. Nick. |

I don't use the X30 but perhaps the i-service has been discontinued.? ![]() Are you able to manually create dynamic playlist/radio files (internet station)? Sometimes it could be the gateway IP could be problematic thru the dhcp server...try factory reset - only if you are able to access the internet & not just the local LAN for web GUI (web service as you called it). Download any station m3u or .pls & see if you can play it - eg BBC R3, R4, CalmRadio etc |

FIXED I'll put the solution here in case it helps anyone else. Go to Settings > Network > Wired Setup > DHCP(Auto IP) and make sure the DNS Server is the same as the Router's IP Address. I have no idea why it changed (I didn't do it). If I hadn't spend about a year ripping cds onto this device I would have taken it into the garden and smashed it with a hammer by now. I hate it. |
