Well I've had this machine for less than 4 days I certainly was not expecting to remove the cover to release a sticking cd. I am not at all confident that a cd will always reject and feel a better loading system like the old tray loaders would be a better way to load and unload cd's. Although happy with the machine and all its bells and buzzers I find the internal amp sounds tinny and flat and has no feeling to it so I've now gone back to playing it through my Technics amp as that has more treble and and bass sound to it. For the price I would have thought a better amp would be fitted as its supposed to replace your old HIFI.

1. Check if the CD is stuck or the drive lock is the issue?
2. What happens when you press eject?

X30 & X10 are more stable than all the units.

It was stuck but as I said had to take the casing off and unscrew the drive to get the thing to release.
When the eject button was pressed it went through the first part of ejecting then did nothing just reloaded the cd.
Maybe it was one of the first cd's ever released as its old and maybe a bit thicker than normal. At least I know how to get a stuck cd out the drive now. Maybe turning the unit upside down and pressing eject might get them out like it says in the thread further down the list.
Whats cd lock? The picture is good but cannot understand why you added it.
Thanks

If its a thinker CD use the sellotape trick to pull it out.
Can you play the stuck CD?
Try the upside down trick, works on my bose sometimes...
I wanted you to see the optical & how it was assembled

Just a quick update. Unit was sent back for refund as the problem just got worse. Now looking for something more reliable, lost all faith in CA now. At £400 it still would be over priced for what it is.
