i have an x12. on start up the screen works, displays cocktail glass, then shows initializing, then instead of going to initializing devices screen it just goes blank, is lit, but no display?? anyone have any ideas?? is there a way to get the i.p. address of my x12 without going into x12 itself??? like through my p.c.

Hope i could help, you can get any IP through various modes by using a PC, router, you could also use the "fing" app (it will display all devices/IP on your network).
I used to use the x10, x30 now i use the pro x100 (more server based), but the x10 & x30 work in the same manner.
If the screen is blank, it could be the HDD can't be accessed by the device or a corrupted file needs to be removed.
The best way to check is to remove the HDD & boot the kit, then switch the menu storage location to USB (setup), this would allow you to access the HDD.
